Responding to COVID-19 in Arlington County: Pandemic Response Campaign
Arlington Bridge Builders (ABB) has launched a Pandemic Response Campaign that is helping our neighbors who are in need because of the pandemic. We are helping to plan outreach and benevolence, screen applicants for assistance, and forming prayer teams.
The pandemic is a true crisis in Arlington: those asking for help are growing exponentially with over 7,500 people in our county filing for unemployment in the last four weeks alone. You can serve our neighbor in need by donating to ABB’s food pantry and by contributing to the ABB benevolence fund, which is helping people cover a portion of their basic expenses such as rent, meds, gas, electric and medical bills.
Benevolence Fund ABB’s benevolence fund goal is to bless 100 families over the next 3 to 4 months, averaging $2,000 per family.
ABB is a 501 (c)(3) organization, so contributions to the fund are tax deductible.
Food Pantry The ABB food pantry is providing both perishable and non-perishable food to families in our community. We are in desperate need on perishable food. Contact us at ContactArlingtonBridge@gmail.com for details on where to bring your donations. Please spread the word about our food pantry!
