Support for Local Churches
As Bridge Builders, we bring resources to those in need and hope to hopelessness. Arlington is one of the most diverse communities in the country, with more than 100 languages spoken. It is also a community where there are rich opportunities to share of God's love in a relevant and tangible ways.
We also support small and ethnically diverse pastors to reach our multicultural community as well as large and established churches with a kingdom mentality in a spirit of unity.
We meet every Wednesday morning for fellowship and prayer with Arlington Pastors through the Band of Brothers.
The food pantry is open Wednesday to Friday to meet neighbors in need. We provide non-perishable food at NO cost. We also pray regularly and build relationship capital earning the right to share the good news.
We buy 4,000 pounds of food a month at $0.10 a pound
We serve over 60 families a week in very tangible ways
We are ALWAYS in need of volunteers to help with Food Pantry needs, collecting, delivering or driving, etc! Email usif you are interested in helping.
TRAINING FOR OUTREACH
Every so often, we conduct seminars and equip the body of Christ to reach and serve others, and look for training opportunities to empower faith community leaders towards unity and effective ministry outreach.
It is so exciting to enter 2020 with much expectation of God’s work through His people as we serve our neighbor in need, in intentional ways.
ABB is more than backpack giveaways, benevolence funds and food pantry distribution. It is about bridge building through relationships, it is about empowering the church and church leaders, it is about rallying around Kingdom ideas and mobilizing the body of Christ to serve our South Arlington neighbor.
God is doing great things in Arlington! Come join us.
