“We can give them food, rent assistance, counseling, job training and other support. But you give them hope.” - Arlington County Social Worker
Join Us for our Fall Golf Tournament Fundraiser! You are cordially invited to join Arlington Bridge Builders' first-ever Golf Tournament Fundraiser on October 23 at Algonkian Golf Course!
Participation in this fun event will enable us to serve more people in the community with rent, food, relational and health needs. Show off or brush up on your golf skills, enjoy fellowship with others (socially-distanced of course!) and make an impact doing something you love, all while enjoying the Fall weather! Click here for more details and to register
We hope that you will be able to come, forward the event to friends and support ABB’s effort to meet tangible needs for our Arlington neighbors during the pandemic.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Our Efforts in 2019
With your help, Arlington Bridge Builders:
Distributed 98,840 pounds of food to 1,824 families (5,457 Individuals)
Donated 986 backpacks and school supplies to children in need
Provided $6,000 in financial help and prayer to 48 people struggling with medical bills, housing, heating costs and other challenges
And unlike many social services programs, every time we help, we share the Good News and remind our neighbor of God's deep love for them.
Our Efforts in 2020 so far: * Have distributed over 4,000 lbs of food a week to 60 plus families. * We have given benevolent funds to 22+ families ($500 each) towards rent assistance or other basic needs. * We deliver groceries to 10 families weekly, to those who can not drive themselves to the food pantry. * We do zoom calls on Friday nights to connect with and pray for families and their specific situation. * We have received support, volunteers and gifts from 15 church communities.
In this season of hope, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to Arlington Bridge Builders. Your gift supports services to help real people in our community!
